The restless search of heart

A picture speaks 1000 words,
Perhaps, also brings 1000 memories with it.

An ordinary Texas afternoon,
And an picture of past,
Not that present isn't great,
but it isn't same,

A feeling of unfinished affair,
Of answers, I have been seeking,
Questions that won't rest,
are all afresh.

My mom, had the widest smile,
I have ever seen her do,
when on her sick day,
she was served, instead serving

My dad, had biggest chest,
when he realized,
being imitated,
instead of getting cursed,

Somebody, sometime,
reciprocated the efforts,
which were tiresome,
but needed patience,

Maybe, there is peace,
in the attempting to giving back,
in expressing unsought love,
in being loved back for same.
