Many is naught

It is one those full moon nights, when stars merge in moonlight guiding many lost in the dark. There's a mom telling kid the myth about "hide and seek" moon, and then there are cupid stuck, looking at imperfections that they fell in love with. And then are million wasted lives, nor loved neither hated. Invincible, they are memories of none.Either they were too good or they are too bad, that ushering was a sin itself. In such a blissful night, am disturbed. Caught in the storm of thoughts, that raised serious question. Questions on attitude, question on people, question on lot many better things, which was now shadowed in doubt.

That apart, there is story that was read to me in an effort to educate me spiritually. The story goes something in these lines. It was one of the 365 days classified into good and bad days. For some reason love and gratitude are supposed to ooze out in full that day, and hence it was in all people. But,for one unfortunate called "god". ( Disclaimer: For my convenience I assumed gender of god to be same as mine. You always have the freedom to change it to your convenience. Remember that it is god and he can be she too :P ) He had psychic power. To an extent of influencing thoughts of fellows, who never knew to hold reins of their own thoughts and mind. Somehow, he used those to keep everyone around happy, regardless of best and worst happening to one. Such was his effect. No wonder, when such a day came up, people wanted him to be happy and they all called him to dinner at their places. Now, the god wanted to keep everyone happy and hence he could never say "no". Good for him, that he had also some supernatural powers which allowed him to do copy-paste himself to times of his liking, which he did. He went to everyone's home. Everyone made best of their dishes but his. How would anyone, when no one ever bothered to understand him, for everyone was too busy escaping their problems and leaving it at his discretion, than confronting it. Well at the end of day, everyone was happy, but "god" himself. He was overwhelmed by love shown, unable to decide whether it was what it was or mean wishes laced by it, a false pretense, that everyone is capable of, in a genius way. And it left a void, that never could be filled. And the "god" was now in doubt, whether he was happy or pretending to be so and hence becoming one the rest.

Well, at the end of the day, what I said once to a friend "one with many friends has no friends at all", seemed true. He wanted to keep everyone happy, while no two wished same for each other, so some or the other was hurt, and so was he. Am sure, dear you figured what am sayin'. By the way, though he was called "god", he was called "Krishna" by his best friend sudama.

"Optimism"

Well so many times I found my hands frozen in midway, owing to inconvenience of finding proper words. Nevertheless, even vaguest idea has to stay afloat, for it would be refined by people of greater intellect and maturity.

My dear reader, it is you.

In this competitive world, where against all our determination of not getting entangled in rat race, we find ourselves racing at our best, somehow owing to circumstances. We lose vision, sight and it's all dark. Yet, we are hopeful and optimistic. About "optimism" these days, I feel it safe to say, that most of our optimism, is by virtue of estimation of abilities of rest which we feel are inferior to us. Though, it may not be case of everyone, it's a hard truth or opinion one sure doesn't want to agree with. I wish it was. Our optimism is based on statistics of randomness, than centrally being faith or belief in ourselves, of which there are no statistics or tangible data. From when was our "optimism" a function of everyone and everything but you ?

Maybe, "optimism" these days is "your loss my gain".
